"Since moving to Bergen County, I have been going to the spa periodically for services. I recently had a massage and it was excellent. The therapists and technicians are exceptional and always accommodating. Which is the primary reason for going. However, with regards to the 'spa' factor, the facilities and support staff services (not the therapists and technicians) at Riverside need improvements. I have filled out the surveys after visits and have yet to receive a response. Sometimes when entering one is not greeted and there is a hesitation and near reluctance to direct people as to what desk to check in. Once there, there is little communication. The transition between services is non-existent. The staff need better training in communication and creating a better, more welcoming affect. The men's room needs work. The main shower had the hand held apparatus completely missing with a hole in the wall. There was only the ceiling rain shower head working. There is mold in some of the grout lines in said shower and there are rusty shower curtain rods, door frames, etc. The facilities need better maintenance and upkeep for the steep prices for services. Unfortunately, the latter takes away from the former great experience of the therapists and technicians--which I have found to be stellar. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this spa to friends."
