"DON’T GET CUT IF YOU ARE MALE. I don’t know how they have nearly 50 reviews and one of the best ratings in ames. It was my first time getting a haircut with them and was given a sheet to fill out to talk a little bit about my hair. I answered the questions but was suspicious when my stylist didn’t talk about or confirm any of my answers to know more about my preferences. This ended with an opposite style to what I wanted because she misread my answers. The only thing she said was the standard sports clips “do you want it short or long” as the only question and I showed a picture of exactly how my hair looked when cut previously but she only glanced at it and didn’t ask to reference it at any point later in the cut. In the end, I ended up with a haircut much different than I expected with it way too short to fix. I will have to wait a month now for it to get to where i wanted it. If I didn’t pay nearly $40 for a haircut I could do in my bathroom I wouldn’t be as irritated but my hair isnt lopsided or anything so I have to give at least 2 stars"
