"Today was my first and last trip to Cute Nails. I went based on raving reviews for all their services, including waxes. I went for a Brazilian wax and left before it was finished. For starters, the room is tiny, and the table is poorly placed, not allowing access to different angles for pulling wax. Next, Holly used the same wax paper multiple times before tossing. This caused build up of wax on the paper and prevented smooth pulls. We waxed the same side of very sensi...tive skin at least 4 times...I still left with hair there. After I asked her to please only use a wax paper one time each, she still used it twice. I started to pay closer attention at this point and I realized she was “double dipping”, or using the same wax applicator and putting it back into the wax pot after each application. I’m unsure about any of you, but I don’t want to use wax that has been double dipped after touching your lady parts. At this point, I politely stated I was finished, I did not want to complete any further services and to please remove the remaining wax. It took about 5 full minutes of rough wiping and the wax was still not coming off. I was beyond frustrated - where was I going to fix this at 6pm on Friday? I told her to stop as it was painful and that I would remove the rest myself. She made me pay $60 for the worst and most painful spa experience I’ve had. While checking out, I asked if the owner or manager was available and was told no. I asked for their name and was told Lucky, but she did not know his last name, nor when Lucky would be in tomorrow so I could call. I asked her name and she hesitated, then told me Holly. I ran over to a salon across the street, wax still stuck to my skin, and they suggested to use sugar and olive oil to get the wax off. Worked like a charm, and now just dealing with raw skin that was waxed over and over in the same places unsuccessfully. I am severely disappointed in this local business Cute Nails, and am just dumbfounded that I experienced this at a place with such a large, loyal clientele. See More"
