"We are new to the area and decided to try this place because of how the townies rave about it. Entering the place it has your typical old restaurant feel. I knew right away that the serving sizes would be huge and the plates I saw coming out were indeed big portions. We went here for taco Tuesday. We waited about 25 minutes for 6 tacos, the table next to us waited longer than that for 4. When we got the tacos, the shells were hard (they were soft flour shells), the meat was greasy and looked like they added water to make it. My boyfriend thought the tacos tasted like middle school cafeteria food, I thought it tasted worse than that. My daughter who just had a bowl of taco meet said it smelled like dog food and only had a couple bites.We were so disappointed in how the food tasted, especially considering how long we had to wait to be served (fyi the place was not busy at all). The other people who were there seemed to enjoy their food and clean their plates so maybe we would have to try another meal there as tacos are not their thing ooor the locals are so used to that kind of food they don't mind it."
