"I had the same reaction as another customer after getting the Nova-Lash eyelash extensions. As the other customer I had worn them many times before and had zero problems. My husband made the appointment for me as a gift. First I will say the woman performing the service was friendly and very professional. I have no problem with her. However the services were beyond horrible. As the other customer stated I could feel something was wrong within a day. Upon closer inspection with a 10x magnifying mirror I noticed that clumps of 3 to 4 extensions were glued together. The glue was also randomly clumped on lashes not even having an extension placed on them. A few days later both the outer lids of my eyes became sore. I then noticed the extensions were glued directly to the lid on the outer edges of both my eyes. Extensions in the middle of my eye were glued to 2 or 3 lashes causing them to twist as the other lashes grew out or fell out naturally. The technician gluing the lashes directly to my skin caused me to incur ingrown eyelashes on both lids and a stye. These lashes needed to be removed immediately (NOT by Pineapple Day Spa!) This technician is NOT a certified tech with Nova-Lash as I checked with Nova-Lash after the fact. Another issue which made me unhappy is they advertise a $50 'credit' for first time and when my husband booked the appointment he was told it would be $150, however when I went to pay it was $200 since it was a weekend. If the people booking your appointments aren't aware of your policies then I guess the eyelash tech is not the only one who does not know what she is doing. I will be going back to Eye Love Lash from now on."
