"BEWARE!!!!!!! If I had the option, I would give them 0 stars. I was greeted promptly and taken in back for my pedicure. The woman that helped me was very rough and cut my skin a few times. She then asked me numerous time about the choice of color that I had for my toe polish. I am not sure why this was any concern of hers. I went on with my pedicure and then moved on to my gel manicure. Again, I was clipped a few times on my skin with zero apologies. The polish job is super thick and sloppy. What I have experienced at other salons for a massage was nothing like here. She simply rubbed some lotion on my arm and said I was all done. Now came time to pay. I was given a gift card and I was unsure of the balance so I asked if she could tell me what the balance on the card was. She swiped it through and told me that I had $80 left and that since my total was $70, I would be left with $10 remaining. I had expressed that I was in a time crunch when I first arrived and I was already late for when I had to leave. The woman told me that there was a problem with the system and she couldn't figure out the gift card. She then called someone else over who looked in their computer. After about 5 minutes, I was told that since the gift card was older than 1 year, I was not allowed to use it. I explained to the people working that there is nothing on the card that states that there is an expiration date so that they are required to take the card. They refused and we went around and around for quite some time. By now, I was about ten minutes late to pick up my daughter so I just went ahead and paid the amount that they decided to discount my nails down to. That was a big mistake. After going home and telling my husband what happened, he let me know that it was actually against the law for them to deny my gift card. I looked up the law surrounding gift cards and in fact, an end user does have 5 years to redeem a gift card. I decided that I would go back in this morning to talk to them for a refund in case they weren't aware of the laws. When I walked in they wouldn't even greet me. Instead, they sat their talking among one another. Finally after about 4 minutes, someone came to the counter. I explained the federal law on gift cards and that I wanted my money refunded to me. They absolutely refused. They claim that the owner sold the business to another party but still kept the same business name. They believe that selling the business meant that they did not have to accept any gift cards sold under the previous owner. I explained to them that when you purchase a business and retain the same name you are required to make good on any debts that business may have as you are also collecting on any assets that business may have. These people here were totally unwilling to hear anything about how the law actually works. They completely ripped me off and their polish job was something that I could have done at home. My polish was all smeared 3 hours after I was there since the woman coated the polish so thick on my toes. There are so many other nail salons that I would recommend in the area. There are so many other people and companies that operate with honesty and integrity. This place is a total shame. They should be completely embarrassed with their behavior. A formal complaint has already been issued with the FTC and the Attorney General regarding their gift card practice."
