"When I arrived here it was fairly busy but I only had to wait about 10 minutes. I requested a standard mani/pedi and was seated at a table. I was asked to put my fingers in a solution while my manicurist rang up leaving customers. When she came back, she quickly emory boarded my nails and buffed them. There wasn't an overabundance of attention to detail. Then she proceeded to cut off every single tiny piece of my cuticles. I was immediately nervous but I figured that she was the expert so I went with it. I should mention that during this time she was very distracted. She made a phone call and jumped up twice to recount money in the register and something else. It felt very impersonal and, in the end, two of my fingers were bleeding. One stopped pretty quickly but the other was so deep that it took 5 minutes of firm pressure to stop. Honestly I don't know that she even noticed because she never offered apology or explaination. She just sent me off to rinse my hands. Finally a gentleman working there noticed me bleeding over the sink and offered apology and assistance. When I was done 'rinsing' the woman doing my manicure had moved on to someone else's pedicure. So I sat back at the table, bewildered and in pain. Instead of painting my nails I was instructed to sit in a pedicure chair. It took another few minutes before the nice lady doing someone else's toes asked if the water temp was okay and then yet another worker came by a minute or so later and turned on the bubbler as he walked by. I was basically feeling nervous and traumatized at this point. The huge saving grace was another gentleman who did the absolute best job ever on my toes. He was gentle and skilled and took the time to help me find the correct color since I told him I couldn't find anything comparable to what I already had. He gave me literally the best pedicure I have ever had! My feet looked and felt amazing by the time I left...2 hours later. I wasn't sure when they were going to offer to paint my nails and I was running out of time so I asked him to paint them. He looked extremely confused that they weren't done already but he acquiesced and painted my fingers right there at the pedicure chair. He, once again, did an amazing job. Over the next several days my fingers hurt so badly. Because my cuticles were no longer around to hold the skin onto my fingers, that area got ripped up practically every time I moved. Reaching in my purse or pulling up my pants quickly became torture. It's been 3 weeks now and the strange peeling style healing to my fingertips is finally complete. The pain luckily subsided after about 7 or 8 days. So I'm stuck at a firm 3 stars. This was both the best and the worst experience in nail care that I have ever had. If I could go straight to him and know that no one else would touch me, I would go again in a heartbeat. But there are many practitioners there and they seem to jump willy-nilly around to various customers. Some day I might go back but I think the woman who tortured me is in charge, so I'm scared to try again. But, honestly, I know bad days happen and that my experience may have been an outlier."
