"Basically, I am pleased with my experience & I will return. My cousin is moving to Leclaire, Iowa. I traveled to LeClaire for a mini vacation & to help her do some miscellaneous tasks. I decided I was way overdue for a pedicure & she recommended Tony at La Vie Nail Lounge as he gave her a pedicure once and she felt he did a great job. She also stated they serve tea, water, wine & champagne, which I was looking forward to relaxing with a glass of wine while getting a pedi. I walked in, without an appointment, and they were able to fit me in. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the decor & the friendliness of the staff. Tony gave me a wonderful experience. However, I was not offered anything to drink. I was disappointed because the cost of the pedicure ($43 plus tax & tip for the Classic Pedicure, 45 minutes) was more than I am use to paying. But I felt it was worth the extra money if I could enjoy a glass of wine. Okay, not a deal breaker. I never get my nails polished. Yet, Tony used the full 45 minutes, rather than cutting my time short, like most nail salons do. Instead, I received an extra long massage. It was great. Another thing I love about La Vie is the massage chairs. They work well and provide a great massage! I would recommend this nail lounge to those who like to get good service as well as get pampered while feeling secure about the procedures they use to keep their tools sterile and you safe."
