"I went in for a simple gel removal as my first and only experience. First the technician tried to scrape my nails off without any soaking. I'm a nail newbie, but even I knew that was wrong. I asked if she was going to soak them and she brought out the bowl of acetone and told me to soak them for 10 minutes. I guess she got bored because barely 3 minutes of uncomfortable silence later, she started swapping my hands in and out for 60-90 seconds at a time as she drilled the gel entirely off my fingers to the point of pain and creating divots in my natural nails. She also started clipping my natural nails without asking if I wanted to keep them long, and she shaped them so badly I sat in my car and had to fix them myself. I will not return."
