"I visited Fusion Hair Color Bar with my daughter recently who wanted her hair split dyed - half black and half pink. The process was long as you can imagine going from black to baby pink on half her head. Total cost was $375 before tip. I was hesitant as $375 is a hefty price tag for a teenager and I know that I could have it done elsewhere for at least 30% less. Boy, do I regret my decision! Not only is the final product NOT worth the $375 price tag, but their attitude and customer service is appalling! The baby pink side of my daughter's head looks old (like it needs to be retouched after multiple washes) and streaky with yellow blonde pieces in it. It looks like it was done at home and not in a salon. It's would be obvious to anyone familiar with coloring that they simply did not lift it evenly (or enough) with the bleach prior to applying the pink. My mother brought her back to the salon to discuss correction of the color two business days after (before washing), but she returned home stating that correction would cost $150. I immediately called the owner to discuss. He was so rude and combative. His argument is that they gave her exactly what she showed him in the photo at consultation, which is certainly NOT true - I don't know what they are seeing in the picture, but it doesn't look streaky AT ALL. Even if this was intentional, which I doubt it was anything but lack of skill, at no time did they discuss with me that they were trying to achieve this uneven, ugly, patchwork mess. Seeing as I am the paying customer, not the 13 year old, that was a BIG miss! We specifically discussed the final color desired and they showed us the color on a white paper towel before we began - never once suggesting that the color wouldn't be even. I will not be returning after my conversation (more of an argument) with the owner Rocky as I have zero faith that they could achieve what was requested even if I did pony up another $150.I'll end this review by adding that this is not the first time I've visited a salon for such a dramatic color change. I regularly change up my own color - from platinum to bright red and back again. I know the effort that goes into it and yes you spend a LONG time in the salon to achieve the results. However, never have I ever paid as much as they charged and most importantly, never have I ever encountered a professional that wasn't willing to make it right. Find another salon! One with better skilled technicians and certainly better customer service! Lesson learned, albeit an expensive one."
