"I went in on New Year’s eve about an hour before they were closing to have my hair styled for the party I was going to. No cut, no wash, just a styling. I showed a picture of a waterfall braid that I wanted done, which I don’t believe is a very difficult style to do, I just can’t do it to myself. They got me right in, but the only hair stylist available took one look at my sample pic and kind of laughed and said “ok, I’ll be honest with you, I suck at braiding.” what kind of hair stylist can’t braid? I told her just to curl my hair instead (which I can do myself but figured it’d be nice to have someone else do it for once), and then just maybe put it half up or something. She proceeded to curl my hair and then took small amounts from both sides, braided them separately (even though she didn’t know how to braid), and joined them in the middle. It took a total of 20 minutes tops. I didn’t get a chance to really look at it but then she was trying to rush me out the door. So I paid and left, it was like $70.Once I got home and really looked at my hair I realized it was not at all How I wanted it to look. I took out the “braids”, heated up my curling wand and fixed the curls myself. I never went back to complain, but I’ll definitely never back for any other service."
