"Most visits were fine, but one Sunday I took my daughter there about 3:00. I waited in the parking lot for an hour. I went into the shop to check on my 16 year old and she was still waiting to have her fill-ins done. I also noticed that costumers I saw going inside while I was waiting for my daughter were having pedicures done. I asked the owner why was my daughter still sitting there. He began to tell me that none of the workers knew how to do fill-ins. That was untrue because some of those same women had done mine before. The owner then told me he’d asked my daughter to come back tomorrow. Questions-1. Is this discrimination 101 towards my African American daughter ? ( all other customers were white)2. Was my daughter asked to come back because the owner realized he’d make more money from all of those pedicures and only $14 from a fill-in?Needless to say, my daughter was disappointed, but as her mother, I was hurt because she was mistreated."
