"As a working professional who is active, I never take care of my feet. So part of my regiment to take care of myself includes a monthly visit to get a pedicure. After living in Kapolei for years and going to Tiffany's nails, I needed to find a new LNS (local nail salon) in my new neighborhood of Kaka'ako. I have tried Hoala Spa at Ala Moana for a pedicure; however, a $62 Essential Pedicure at Hoala sure adds up.Using my trust Yelp App, I found Emma's Nails, which is located across from the former Sports Authority location on Ward and the upcoming Ke Kilohana condominium, Emma's Nails is run by a local family. It has about six chairs for pedicures and several tables for manicures.Parking is located directly in front with several stalls designated for the salon.I normally see Lily, who I believe is part of the family. She is really meticulous and nice. As other Yelpers have mentioned, the prices are really reasonable. It's not the fanciest or nicest place, but it is clean, employees are friendly and they do a good job. My pedicure is usually about $27, which includes a callous treatment."
