"I went in 3 days ago to get an acrylic manicure ($30 - $5-10 more than my regular salons), the next day 1 of my nails broke while I was at work from picking at a hang nail. A few hours later, another nail broke when I pulled a piece of tape off of something. I've kept my nails done consistently for the past 3 years, I've never had nails break off like this (maybe after 2 weeks, but not in less than 1 day). The next day after that, I flicked something at work and another nail went flying off.The nails themselves look beautiful bc they are somewhat thin, they look natural (no one likes a thick, chunky acrylic nail) but now I realize it's not done properlySo I went back today, and got my 3 nails redone. The owner still charged me $8. And asked if I want to tip on my card. I wasnt even expecting to pay, let alone tip. I chose not to argue. After I paid, another woman came in and explained that her french manicure is coming off and she is unhappy. She pulled her nails off in front of the woman. She said to the woman 'you're not going to charge me, right?' and the owner said 'no'.Definitely will not be going back at least. Will stick to my regular salon, Tip Top Nails on 11th and Filbert. Only reason I went to City Nails was bc it was a Friday and my regular was too busy. City Nails was empty, go-figure!!"
