"I had an appt at the location at the Domain. I was parked over by Neiman Marcus and had a makeup appt there first. They ran over and I left there around 1:05... I started walking towards Blo not realizing how far of a walk it was. The lady at Blo called me at 1:13 and I called her back at 1:21 to see if I could get a better idea as to what they were by and let her know I was on my way. She said that she would bump my appt to 1:15 ( I have the email conf). I sd ok .. I got to Blo around 1:30 and she checked me in and said... well now that you are 30 min late I can only curl your hair. I wanted to say why didn’t you tell me that over the phone... she acted like it was fine. She then offered to wash it but she could only do it straight because she had other appts after me. I asked if there was anyone else.. because the place was EMPTY and she said no. There was only one other girl there getting her hair done and me but there were two extra stylist there. She washed my hair and asked me why I was late. I told her that I was not from here that I was from Fort Worth and I didn’t know my way around and I apologized. She then yelled out for the receptionist to come by and said 'she has extensions, can you add that' and told me it would be an upcharge. She asked me if I had ever been to a blow dry bar... I said yes, I have a membership to the Fort Worth Drybar (I am not a rookie to this like she was implying) She asked if I wanted a drink and said the front desk lady would get it. That was the extent of our conversation for the whole 30 min I was there. She asked another girl to help her blow dry me... that girl smiled at me and made me feel more comfortable than the girl doing my hair that never smiled once. She asked if I used any products and I said no.. just light hair spray and shine spray.. she proceeded to use a bunch of oils and I am not sure what else... 4 or 5 more products but never told me what she was using or anything. I felt like I was sitting in the principal’s office and was getting the silent treatment. She blow dried my hair and I was yanked back and forth between her and the other girl. It was very rough and awful. She blow dried it straight and dismissed me at 2:00 on the dot... even though per the email I got and the upcharge I paid for I had until 2:15 because my appt was moved to 1:15 and I was charged the extra $20(so total of $60 ) and it stated 60 min. She had 15 min left and could have curled me but just choose not to... Not to mention there was a girl in the back on her cell and a girl in the alleyway when I left... so two other girls that could have helped curl my hair. So I was sent on my way.. no thank you not nothing.. I paid and didn’t want to tip but they announce do you want to tip on the card and I didn’t want to say NO so I felt obligated to do the normal 20%. It was just an awful experience not how I wanted to have my Saturday start off before the bridal shower. A smile and a little understanding goes a long way"
