"tldr; Made an appointment for 4 people over a week in advance. At time of appointment shop was closed. Called phone number on window. Was rudely told no one would be helping us.First of all, If I could rate this business 0/5 stars I would. I have been here multiple times and each time my experience gets worse. I don't expect a lot with a nail salon.The final straw wasn't when i was up-charged for a service I didn't receive ('delux' vs 'regular' pedicure), or when my friend got an infection in her foot from an ingrown nail that was incorrectly taken care here, or when they trimmed my cuticles so short I was bleeding from a few fingers. All of these separate instances I chalked up to poor luck or me just not speaking up as a customer.However this past Sunday I had a shocking new level of awful to add to my list of experiences here. In a classic fashion my girlfriends and I wanted to get pedicures on a Sunday after brunch. In an attempt to make the day as carefree as possible I called to make an appointment after seeing that they are 'By Appointment Only' on Sundays. Easy enough, I was able to call and schedule a 2 pm for 4 people. This was booked over a week in advance.The day comes and 4 people are standing in the 90* heat outside of a shop with a 'Closed' sign on the front of it, no one inside, and no signs that anyone was there. I called the Cell number posted on a piece of paper and taped to the inside of the door. No answer. I called again, no answer. I figured 'third times a charm.' and called one last time.A man picked up, which is strange considering that a woman owns this establishment, that is who the cell belongs to, and I have never seen a man working in the shop, but whatever. He says 'hello?' and I awkwardly explain that there are 4 people waiting outside of their shop for the 2pm pedicure appointment. 'Yeah, we closed' was his response. I explained again that I understand they are normally closed on Sundays but they are open 'By Appointment' and I had made one for today at 2 pm (roughly ten minutes ago by this point).He again answers 'Yeah. No, We closed.' For confirmations sake and because I don't find it worth my energy to argue with people over the phone, I repeat my explanation that there are people here who made an appointment which is what was recommended, we talked to someone and they confirmed an appointment with us at time of booking, and even after we did this that we would not be taken care of at all.He answers 'No, we closed.' So I hung up and will obviously never be going to this establishment again.I'm honestly a bit sad to see the only nail salon downtown be so careless with their customers. Especially ones that are returning for services, time and time again."
